Mnemosyne Genomics

Mnemosyne (Μνημοσύνη) was a Titaness, the daughter of the Titans Uranus and Gaia and the personification of memory (remembrance) and a goddess of time. Mnemosyne was the mother of the nine Muses, fathered by her nephew, Zeus, who were originally patron goddesses of poets of the oral tradition.

Mnemosyne represented the rote memorisation required to preserve the sagas of myth. In this role, Mnemosyne Genomics delivers professional services, training and consulting on reproducible research and their methodologies in genome bioinformatics. These approaches empower time saving workflows and enable the memorisation as to how research observations were made. Research provenance becomes increasing important in a regulatory setting.

Foundation

Mnemosyne Genomics was originally conceived in 2009 and has most recently been incorporated in Germany in 2017. Mnemosyne Genomics is headed by Stephen Rudd, a bioinformatician and genomics specialist.
